About Me

I’m Axel Gage — a designer, photographer, husband, father, and one-time Jeopardy champion from Västerås, Sweden. I’ve spent the last decade plus helping people around the world by creating bold, memorable work that helps brands of every size become who they want to be. I love diving deep into branding, illustration and photography with each new project, enthusiastically embracing new aesthetics and styles every day by sticking to my fundamental design principles of simplicity and clarity of messaging.

I graduated from the Advertising, Graphic Design and Visual Communication BA program in Kalmar, Sweden in 2016, and have worked for the last few years as an in-house designer at Smartgroup.
